The Curator
We are extremely lucky to have Gerrard Roots as the Curator of the Museum. Gerrard has been at the Museum for over 25 years and is enthusiastic and dedicated to the collection. Gerrard organises all the exhibitions at the Museum, sometimes very much against the odds, when items promised do not arrive or are delayed! Exhibition times have been known to change at the last minute but Gerrard triumphs above these obstacles.
There is always a friendly atmosphere at the Museum and Gerrard and Hugh Petrie, Heritage Officer (who has recently moved to the Museum from Archives) are happy to greet visitors and answer any questions.
